What is it?

Exactly what it sounds like.

Games. Lots & lots of unique games. A typical installment of “The GSS&S” consists of trivia games, physical challenge games & even good, old-fashioned guessing games. One crowd favorite, “Stuck Or Loose?” is pretty self-explanatory. As is the team game “ME or YOU”. But in addition to our standard-issue programming, we also do holiday-themed contests. There was “Naughty or Nice” for Christmas., “Who the Fuh-Hell is That?” for President’s Day & “Annie, Get Your Green Card” for Cinco De Mayo. Que bueno!

Show. Lots & lots & lots to show. “The Game Show Show & Stuff Orchestra” alone is worth the price of admission. During their musical segments, the 8 piece combination (including drums, percussion, bass, guitar, keys & even a horn section) provides more entertainment than some bands can in a whole concert. Plus, “The GSSO” are fronted by “The Game Show Showgirls”, who add their vocal talents & feminine wiles to the musical equation. The sum is intoxicating.

& Stuff. Lots of weird, wild, wonderful stuff. Co-Host Esteban Cruz keeps the crowd on their toes with an array of tricks & treats ranging from beautiful burlesque-style dance numbers to silly songs & everything in between. The $20 Challenge keeps the audience on the edge of their seats as volunteers vie for the cash in exchange for drinking a quart of eggnog, kissing a stranger or sticking their head in a 33-pound container of mayonnaise. All the while, DJ Gregor Mortis keeps heads nodding to the beat.

But wait there’s more!! Yes, even MORE stuff! As if all that were not enough, “The Game Show Show…& Stuff” sometimes includes interactive video element, too! Which have (of course) wound up on YouTube.com & helped keep the buzz on the show…well…buzzing.

In addition, we have the dubious distinction of being named “Late Night of the Year” by Chicago Magazine 2 years in a row. Suffice it to say, though, you REALLY have never seen anything like it. So, with that in mind, I’d like to invite you to come & see it for yourself.
